• Abdullah Al Mamun is a senior evaluation and data analytics professional with over 15 years of international experience. He is in study leave to pursue his PhD in International Development at University of Ottawa, Canada.

Gazi Mohammad Suhrawardy

• a post-graduate of Department of Economics, University of Dhaka, has been conducting socio-economic research and consultancy works since 2003 and engaged with over 120 studies and authored and coauthored more than 60 reports during his 22-years long career.

Md Abdus Salam

• Md. Abdus Salam is a statistician by training. He is a development professional with more than 24 years of experience in monitoring & evaluation, evidence capturing & reporting, database development & management, project’s planning & implementation, networking & communication, facilitating training workshops and business proposal development. He has led many successful projects’ planning, monitoring, reporting and knowledge sharing and facilitated evaluation teams.

Md. Shafiul Alam

• Md. Alam is a finance professional with 17 years of extensive experience in the field of finance, accounts and administration management and has expertise in preparing financial plans, monitoring & controlling resources and providing financial information about the financial position, performance, budget formulating and variance analysis, minimizing financial risk, developing and implementing financial policies & procedures.

Anowarul Islam Biplob

• Md. Anowarul Islam (Biplob) leads “Finance, Procurement & Field Operations” at CRD. He manages all day to day business around people management, administration and all payables and receivables.

Mahmuda Akter Anna

• Mahmuda Akter Anna is a development researcher with over a decade of experience in the field. She has a strong background in child protection, having worked with renowned organizations such as Save the Children and Islamic Relief Worldwide.

Md. Abu Salek Khan (Saleh)

• Mohammad Abu Salek Khan (Saleh) is a researcher and activist, working as Deputy Manager of the Research and Evaluation department at CRD. He joined CRD as a Sr. Officer in the Research and Evaluation department in May 2022.

Mohammad Omar Faroque

• Mohammad Omar Faroque is a seasoned research and development professional with eight years of experience and dual master’s degrees in International Relations and Affairs from Bangladesh and India. He has contributed to more than 50 research projects, spanning sectors such as climate change, gender and social inclusion, food security, livelihood, WASH, waste management, health, education, emergency response, policy & governance, among others. His expertise lies in designing and executing research, producing actionable evidence for better decision making, programming and policy influencing.

Rahat Hannan

• Rahat Hannan joined CRD in May 2022 as an Intern and has since progressed through multiple roles, currently serving as a Senior Officer in the Research & Evaluation Department. Over the past three years, he has developed extensive experience in project evaluation, research management, survey design, field supervision, data analysis, and report writing for donor-funded development and humanitarian programs

Md. Riyad Arefin

• Md. Riyad Arefin is a dedicated and results-driven finance professional with over seven years of experience in finance, accounts and administration. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Finance from the Asian University of Bangladesh.

Md Saiful Islam

• Mr. Saiful Islam is an accounting professional with a keen eye for detail and working experience with accounts. He has excellent mathematical skills as well as being able to produce clear and concise reports offering sound advice on a variety of different subjects

Md. Mahmudul Hasan

• Mahmudul Hasan has a solid foundation in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, demonstrated through his work as a Research Assistant at the Population Council, focusing on the commercial sexual exploitation of boys in Dhaka.

• Ibrahim Hridoy received a Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSS) and a Master of Social Sciences (MSS) in Sociology from the University of Dhaka. He has received training courses on computer fundamentals and basic to advance research.

• Mst. Tasnim Reja a dedicated and passionate Research Intern at the Centre for Research and Development (CRD), brings a strong foundation in anthropology with hands-on research experience. She excels in conducting in-depth interviews, participant observation, case study writing, and qualitative data analysis. Her work often focuses on migration, gender, education, and mental well-being, areas she has explored through rigorous academic research and fieldwork.

Shahriar Ahmed Toufiq

• Shahriar Ahmed Toufiq holds a bachelor's degree in Civil and Water Resources Engineering from the Military Institute of Science and Technology and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Water Resources Development at the Institute of Water and Flood Management, BUET.

Mahmudul Hasan Mridul

• Mahmudul Hasan Mridul has completed his BSS and MSS in Disaster and Human Security Management from the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). He is experienced in working in remote areas of Bangladesh on multiple social research projects. As a fresh graduate, Hasan’s strong interest in climate extremes, their impacts on human health and livelihoods, and gender disparities has encouraged him to join our team.

Iftekharul Islam

• Iftekharul Islam is a dedicated research and development professional with substantial experience in disaster risk reduction, disability inclusion, and community-based research.

Labib Muhaimeen Uddin

• Labib Muhaimeen Uddin is a dedicated and driven professional with both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Dhaka. He is deeply committed to contributing to sustainable development and social transformation in Bangladesh through the application of conflict resolution, effective communication, and education.

She has over 3.5 years of experience in interdisciplinary academic research, publishing and serving as a peer reviewer for reputed journals. She joined as Research Assistant at CRD September 2025.

Sanjida Nur

• Sanjida Nur is a research enthusiast and development professional with particular interest in the areas of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Climate Change Adaptation (CCA), social impact sectors, community resilience programs, disability inclusion and community-based research. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social science from the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, University of Dhaka. She joined as Research Assistant at CRD September 2025.

Zerin Tasnim

• Zerin Tasnim is an M.Sc. graduate in Food and Nutrition with a strong interest in research, public health, and nutrition communication. She has gained practical experience through her work at the Bangladesh Institute of Research and Training on Applied Nutrition (BIRTAN), where she was actively involved in field research and data collection on nutrition-related issues.
