Mst. Tasnim Reja
Mst. Tasnim Reja is a dedicated and passionate Research Associate at the Centre for Research and Development (CRD). She joined CRD in April 2025 as an Intern under the Business Development department. Following the successful completion of her internship, she joined the organization as a Research Assistant under Research & Evaluation department and subsequently promoted to Research Associate. In her current role, she is actively involved in proposal development, research design, qualitative and quantitative tool development, data collection planning, data analysis, report writing, and ensuring the methodological quality of research and evaluation studies.
Her technical expertise includes technical & financial proposals development, conducting surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), in-depth interviews (IDIs), key informant interviews (KIIs), community consultations, participant observation, case study documentation, and qualitative data analysis. She has contributed to research and evaluations in areas including gender equality, public health, SRHR, DRR, climate resilience, livelihoods, education, migration, governance, social protection, and community development for various client such as UNICEF, Helvetas, CDD, World Vision Bangladesh, ALRD.
Ms. Tasnim completed both her BSS and MSS degrees in Anthropology from the University of Dhaka. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has developed strong analytical and research skills, with particular interests in qualitative research methodologies and ethnographic inquiry. Her academic fieldwork included ethnographic research with Indigenous communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts and the Santal & Oraon community in Rajshahi, enriching her experience in community-based qualitative research. She also completed a one-month Training on Fundamentals of Research Methodology (2024), jointly organized by the University of Dhaka and the Social Science Research Council
