Workshop on Gender Responsive Guideline for DPP

National Resilience Program (NRP), a joint initiative by Government of Bangladesh, two development partners and three UN agencies with the priority concern of progress towards gender equality aims to sustain the resilience of human and economic development in Bangladesh through risk-informed, disability-inclusive and gender-responsive disaster management in the public and private sectors. NRP targets to ensure gender equality and empowerment of women and girls by mainstreaming these aspects throughout the program for its overall gender responsiveness.

CRD Retreat 2023

The Centre for Research and Development (CRD) recently held its annual retreat at CCDB Hope Foundation from 28 February to 2 March 2023. The event was a great success and provided an opportunity for CRD staff to participate in informative and engaging sessions on various topics related to HR policies, business communication, feminist methodology, emotional intelligence, and project management. The retreat also included fun activities such as team-building games, cultural events, and a raffle draw. Participants had the opportunity to network with colleagues, learn from experienced facilitators, and had a good time.

signing a contract with iDE

)n 26 January 2023 CRD signed a contract with iDE. Under this contract, CRD will be leading two assignments – Rapid Market Assessment and Baseline Study of Oporajita Project. On behalf of iDE, Muhammad Mahfuzur Rahman (Director of Finance and Operations) signed the contract. Mr. Abid Ul Huque and Ms Krisha Rana from iDE and Mr. Abdus Salam, Mahmuda Akter and Saleh Khan from CRD were present.

Center for Research and Development (CRD) commenced its operations as a proprietorship enterprise in 2017. Recently, CRD transitioned to a Limited Company in accordance with the 1994 Company Act.
