Wasima Tabassum

Wasima Tabassum is an emerging development professional with experience working on donor-funded projects. She is proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including conducting in-depth interviews, facilitating focus group discussions, performing thematic analysis, and developing technical proposals, reports, and survey instruments.
She completed her master’s degree in Anthropology at the University of Rajshahi, having previously earned her bachelor’s degree from the same institution. Her academic research adopts an interdisciplinary approach to exploring social dynamics, employing diverse methodologies to gain nuanced insights. Her key areas of interest include the structuration of gender dynamics, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and the social stigma surrounding these issues.
Since October 2025, she has been serving as a Research and Evaluation Intern at the Centre for Research and Development (CRD), where she continues to build her expertise in evidence-based development practice.
