Arifa Khan

Arifa Khatun is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Research and Development (CRD) with experience in research design, proposal writing, data collection tool development, field management, qualitative and quantitative data collection, data analysis, report writing, and stakeholder coordination. Her responsibilities include conducting FGDs, KIIs, and IDIs, developing digital data collection tools, coordinating field teams, and supporting enumerator training and research reporting.

She has contributed to research and evaluation projects with organizations including UNICEF, Educo Bangladesh, Centre for Disability in Development (CDD), Terre des hommes (Tdh), Manusher Jonno Foundation, and Bandhu Social Welfare Society, working on issues related to gender equality, child protection, disability inclusion, disaster risk reduction, humanitarian response, and marginalized communities.

Before joining CRD, she worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Government and Politics at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology. She holds BSS and MSS degrees in Government and Politics from Jahangirnagar University. Her research interests include governance, gender studies, socio-political dynamics, religious extremism, and conflict analysis.
