134. Endline Evaluation of LIFT Project

CRD has been assigned to conduct the End Line Evaluation of the “Leveraging Youth Employment in Bangladesh through Improving their Employability and Competitiveness to Fit with the 21st Century Job Market (LIFT)” project . The evaluation is commissioned by Educo Bangladesh, and the project is funded by ChorogUsan for Children (CUFC). The project supports 300 vulnerable young people aged 16–22 across 10 thanas of Dhaka City. It offers market-relevant TVET, life skills, career preparation, counselling, and job-matching and placement support, so that urban youth can move from training into decent and sustainable work.

The evaluation aims to examine the project’s relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability, and measures progress against the Project Design Matrix. It covers TVET enrolment and completion, skills development, employment and entrepreneurship, and links with training institutions and employers. The evaluation will apply mixed-methods design. It will compare end-line results with baseline and midline values. It will also draw out lessons for Educo, its partner NGOs and other practitioners, and recommendations for policy and for strengthening the skills system
