CRD has commenced its third engagement with the Society for Environment and Human Development (SEHD), providing technical and data analysis support for two surveys examining the consequences of forest loss and climate change in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) and the North-Central region of Bangladesh. The surveys are being conducted under the project “Protecting the Forest Communities from Drastic Forest Loss, Plantation Economy, Climate Change and Landgrab,” with support from the European Union and MISEREOR.

CRD’s scope of work includes technical support for developing and installing the survey questionnaires in KoboToolbox, assisting with data cleaning and validation, and analyzing, organizing, and presenting the survey findings in accordance with the dummy tables provided by SEHD. CRD will also provide follow-up technical support during the report-writing process. The engagement covers 16 expert man-days over six months, with CRD’s technical and analytical outputs contributing to SEHD’s reporting on the consequences of forest loss and climate change across the two study areas.
