Endline evaluation of E!quality 2.0 Project
CRD has undertaken the task of conducting the “Endline evaluation of E!quality 2.0”, a gender equality and social inclusion initiative in Bangladesh's education sector, commissioned by the Institute for Informed Development (IID)with funding from the European Union. The study provides an independent, evidence-based evaluation of e!quality 2.0's performance against six OECD DAC criteria (relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability), while examining four key learning questions on consortium contribution, civil society reach, learning influence, and adaptation to political change. The evaluation covers national-level activities and grassroots work in Gaibandha and Sreemangal.
CRD employs a qualitative-dominant mixed-methods approach, combining key informant interviews, focus group discussions with youth and community members (segmented by gender, with quotas for persons with disabilities and ethnic minorities), household surveys, Most Significant Change methodology, and process tracing. All analysis is conducted through a gender equality and social inclusion lens, guided by Contribution Analysis, Partnership Synergy Framework, and Political Economy Analysis. The evaluation generates evidence-based recommendations for programme design, consortium governance, and GESI integration, along with a portfolio of at least fifteen outcomes and impact level narratives that ground findings in participant experiences.
