CRD in partnership with hera (Brussel based International Consulting firm) has been assigned by UNICEF to undertake “Gender Equality Analysis of Sexual Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child & Adolescent Health (SRMNCAH) Services in 5 Districts of Bangladesh.” The analysis seeks to examine the ways in which gender norms, barriers, and inequalities shape the accessibility, utilization, and quality of SRMNCAH services in the targeted districts.

To support this, hera and CRD has been engaged to carry out a Gender Equality Analysis using a holistic, participatory, and intersectional approach aligned with UNICEF’s Gender Equality Toolkit and the GBA+ framework. The study will combine desk review, qualitative methods, and a complementary perception survey to identify gender norms, barriers, and opportunities within SRMNCAH services across the five districts, providing practical recommendations to inform the Gender Action Plan (GAP).  An experienced and multidisciplinary team will be engaged in the study.
