Baseline Study of Samsung C&T-12th Village Project – Good Neighbors Bangladesh

Baseline Study of Samsung C&T-12th Village Project – Good Neighbors Bangladesh
Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) began its operations in 1996 with the goal of improving the lives of communities, particularly registered sponsored children. Currently, GNB is implementing the Samsung C&T-12th Village Project in various slums and schools in Dhaka, aiming to enhance the quality of life by addressing basic human needs in the targeted areas.
To assess the current situation of the project location and establish a benchmark for implementation, a baseline study will be conducted. This study will take place in the Pallabi and Vatara Thana areas of Dhaka City Corporation, Dhaka. Over the course of one month, the baseline study will provide a consistent starting point to determine the existing conditions in the target areas where the project is being implemented. It will also establish benchmarks for output and outcome indicators, identify priority areas for development, track progress based on outcome-level indicators, and provide evidence of the broader impact to be shared with a range of stakeholders.
To carry out this baseline survey, the Centre for Research and Development (CRD) Ltd. has been awarded the contract. Md. Abdus Salam, Head of Business Development & Data Science at CRD, is leading the assignment.
