Endline Evaluation of Joining Forces for Food Security and Child Protection in Emergencies (JF-FS & CPiE) in Bangladesh
The “Joining Forces for Food Security and Child Protection in Emergencies (JF-FS & CPiE)” project is a humanitarian initiative implemented in Cox’s Bazar by Plan International Bangladesh to strengthen the resilience and well-being of Rohingya and host communities by integrating food security and child protection interventions.
As the project approaches completion, the Centre for Research and Development (CRD) Ltd. has been awarded the task of conducting the Endline Evaluation to assess the project’s relevance, effectiveness, inclusion, sustainability, and child participation, while examining key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned to inform future programs and policy dialogue. The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys with qualitative tools (FGDs, KIIs, and IDIs) to ensure a comprehensive, evidence-driven analysis.
The evaluation will focus on three refugee camps in Ukhiya (Camps 17, 20, and 20 Extension) and on host communities in Jaliapalong, Ratnapalong, Baharchora, and Teknaf Municipality. An experienced, multidisciplinary team with expertise in child protection, food security, gender, humanitarian research, and data analysis will lead the study.
