Md Bazlur Rahman

Md. Bazlur Rahman is an experienced professional with more than thirty years of expertise in sales, marketing, and distribution management, and he currently serves as the Chairman of the Centre for Research and Development (CRD). He earned both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mathematics from Govt. Ananda Mohan College under the University of Dhaka. His career began as a Research Assistant at the Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute, where he developed strong skills in data collection, analysis, and research support.

In his role as Chairman of CRD, Mr. Rahman provides strategic direction by defining the organization’s vision and research priorities, while ensuring high ethical standards and research quality. He plays a key role in policy-level decision-making, governance oversight, and building partnerships with stakeholders. 

He also ensures that research outputs contribute effectively to evidence-based decision-making and sustainable development. Widely recognized for his professional excellence, he has received multiple achievement awards, highlighting his leadership, integrity, and results-driven approach.
