Enumerators' Training on GEISA
Today, CRD completed the first day of the enumerators’ training on “Gender Equality and Inclusion- Self Assessment (GEISA)”. The assessment is commissioned by Plan International Bangladesh (PIB) and conducted by CRD. The research team marked a significant step in PIB’s initiative to reflect on its internal systems, policies, and programming through a gender lens. The project seeks to evaluate PIB’s commitment to fostering inclusive and equitable workplaces and programs by examining its internal culture, organizational practices, and external interventions.
The training featured insights from several key contributors. Dr. Md Mokhlesur Rahman, Managing Director of CRD, delivered the opening remarks and shared valuable perspectives on CRD’s role in the initiative. Ms. Sanjida Ahmed, GDIP Advisor at Plan International Bangladesh, provided context on the project's background and objectives.
Additionally, Ms. Tuba Ahmad (Gender Expert) and Neela Akter (Research Assistant) discussed some key terminologies related to this assignment. Ms. Mahmuda Akter (focal person of the assessment), explained the objectives and methodology of the assessment. Her presentation also included a Survey Questionnaire. Ms. Nowshin Tabassum also assisted in that session by providing some relatable and practical experience. The training was further supported by the Field Research Manager and Research Assistant, who ensured smooth facilitation by providing technical support and managing all necessary equipment.
