Md Mokhlesur Rahman, PhD    ( Managing Director & Lead Researcher )

Dr. Rahman is an international development professional with diverse expertise in a wide range of areas and themes. He has a PhD degree in Sociology (JNU, New Delhi, India) and has second Masters in Development Studies from International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), Erasmus University of Rotterdam, Netherlands. His first master’s is in Women and Gender Studies from University of Dhaka. He has completed his graduation in Economics (with honors) and second bachelor’s in education. He has also presented papers in national and international conferences and written broadly on gender, livelihood, DRR, ICTs, and development.  

Dr. Rahman is a seasoned evaluation expert who has recently led evaluation of ABADEI (1.0) program of UNDP Afghanistan (one of the largest project in Asia Pacific region which has budget of $175Million). Histhematic expertise includes Gender, Livelihood, Community Empowerment, GBV & SH, GESI, WaSH, Food security, governance, access to information, DRR, Climate Change, Humanitarian Response, Conflict sensitivity. He has provided consultancy services in different geographic locations including Bangladesh, Afghanistan, India, Pakistán, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Philippines, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Lesotho and Netherlands.

Over the last 22 years, Dr. Rahman has accomplished 110 assignments. Gazi Mohammad Suhrawardy    ( Head of Research and Evaluation )

Gazi Mohammad Suhrawardy, a post-graduate of Department of Economics, University of Dhaka, has been conducting socio-economic research and consultancy works since 2003 and engaged with over 120 studies and authored and coauthored more than 60 reports during his 22-years long career. He has bounteous expertise in: Agrarian and Land Questions; Rural Livelihood, Agriculture and Food Security; and Poverty, Migration and Development. He has convincing track record of analyzing and triangulating large scale primary data and information. Suhrawardy has provided consultancy services to most of the major UN agencies, international and national NGOs, and government autonomous agencies of Bangladesh. He has number of research-based publications including a co-authored article on role of credit in food security and dietary diversity in internationally-acclaimed peer-reviewed "Journal of Economic Analysis and Policy"; and four books as co-author (on political economy of land law, political economy of contract farming, rural land market, and agricultural production practices in CHT). Apart from the development economics issues, he is deeply interested in evolution of economic thoughts, Marxian and Keynesian Economics. He is the coordinator of Centre for Knowledge (CfK), a voluntary platform for young researchers and development professionals for exercising knowledge. Suhrawardy was born on January 1, 1981 in Munshiganj, Bangladesh and currently lives in Dhaka.

Md. Shafiul Alam    ( Head of Finance, Admin, HR and Procurement )

Md. Shafiul Alam is a finance professional with 16 years of extensive experience in the field of finance, accounts, operation and administration management and having expertise in preparing financial plan, organizing financial resources, monitoring & controlling of resources and provide financial information about financial position, performance, budget formulating and variance analysis, minimizing financial risk, developing and implementing financial policies & procedures to reach financial discipline and improve the overall efficiency of the organization, establishing internal control systems and compliance with donor and statutory policies and procedures,. In addition to above services, he has vast experiences in managing procurement & HR activities, assisting in internal and external audit team, introducing administrative systems and supervising staff.

Mr. Alam has worked various donor funded development project at different NGO, INGO and Government’s Project in Bangladesh and has ability to drive complex projects from concept to completion while efficiently manages goals, quality standards and timelines for multiple projects and also has focused in utilizing the fund for the stipulated purposes, establishing consistency, transparency and accountability of fund users as well as ensure the highest level of integrity in all types of reporting.

Md Abdus Salam    ( Head of Data Sciences and Technical Services )

Md. Abdus Salam has been leading Business Development & Data Science Department since 1 January 2022. Before this role, Mr. Salam worked as a Manager–Training and Field operations in CRD. His ongoing responsibilities include writing down technical proposals, preparing budgets, developing data tool techniques both qualitative and quantitative, training enumerators, coordinating field activities, providing logistic support, analyzing data, preparing changes stories, and assisting the preparation of reports.  

Before this, he worked in different national and international organizations as a monitoring and evaluation staff. He has more than 12 years’ experience in monitoring & evaluation, evidence capturing & reporting, database development & management, project planning & implementation, networking & communication. He has led many successful projects’ planning, monitoring, reporting, and knowledge sharing parts and facilitated the evaluation team. He also conducted baseline surveys in different projects independently.

He worked in practical action as a Coordinator- Monitoring evaluation and Learning in FoSHoL, V2R, PFP-shiree, and Pumpkin against poverty projects. He has worked in other organizations such as RDRS- Bangladesh, ATDP/IFDC, Christian Aid, and BWCCI (Bangladesh women chamber of Commerce and Industry) and gained diverse experiences regarding food security, nutrition, women empowerment, DRR, WASH, emergency response for Rohingya and host community people.

Mr. Salam has key expertise in the field of monitoring and evaluation sector, like the development of M&E system and implementation strategies, M&E tools techniques development, indicators development, PRA approaches, case studies sampling techniques, facilitated M&E training, entrepreneurship development, digital data collection tools, and partnership coordination, etc.

Anowarul Islam Biplob    ( Manager- Procurement & Field Operations )

Md. Anowarul Islam (Biplob) leads “Finance, Procurement & Field Operations” at CRD. He manages all day to day business around  people management, administration and all payables and receivables.  

He is an expert in preparing monthly profit and loss balance sheet reports. Also, he is skilled in collecting and analyzing data which gives advice on weekly and monthly estimates. Besides these, he is expert in preparing cash flow statements and controls expenses and cash flows, assists in the preparation of accounts and statutory accounts at the end of the year, maintains the internal payment process and examines the financial distribution including its use. He also prepares vouchers for transactions,  journals, and  other daily financial reports. He prepares annual budget and financial statements as well. He examines financial records for financial accuracy. Also, he assists in staff management and necessary training of the staff.

Mahmuda Akter Anna    ( Deputy Manager- Research & Evaluation )

.Mahmuda Akter Anna is a dedicated and passionate development researcher with over a decade of experience in the field. She has a strong background in child protection, having worked with renowned organizations such as Save the Children and Islamic Relief Worldwide. At the Centre for Research and Development (CRD), where she currently serves as Deputy Manager of Research and Evaluation, she has been instrumental in leading various projects focused on women's empowerment, child protection, and gender-based violence. She also specializes in qualitative data analysis, using her expertise in NVivo to deliver insightful results for large-scale projects.

With a formal academic background in Sociology from Jagannath University, Dhaka, she has extensive expertise in both academic and field research. Since 2011, she has collected and analyzed authentic data for numerous academic and professional projects. She has also undergone specialized training in research methodologies, monitoring and evaluation, child protection, and communication skills from organizations like Save the Children and Islamic Relief.

Her exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a natural ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, make her a valuable asset to any project. Known for her efficiency under pressure and ability to work independently, she is recognized for her professionalism and integrity.

Md. Abu Salek Khan (Saleh)    ( Deputy Manager- Research & Evaluation )

 Mohammad Abu Salek Khan (Saleh) is a researcher and activist currently working as Deputy Manager of the Research and Evaluation department at CRD. He joined CRD as a Sr. Officer in the Research and Evaluation department in May 2022. Socio-economic disparity, border and migration, civil and human rights, gender, and climate justice are the main areas of his research interest and passion. Mr. Khan is academically trained in qualitative research, ethnography and sociological analysis, specializing in texts and traditions. He has around seven years of experience in academic and development research. Before CRD, Mr. Khan worked as a Research Associate (December 2019 – April 2022) at Creative Pathways Bangladesh (CP). Apart from his professional engagement, he is also involved with various voluntary services, study circles, and civil and human rights advocacy initiatives.

Mr. Khan completed his Post-graduate Diploma (PGD) in Genocide Studies from the Centre for Genocide Studies – CGS at University of Dhaka, Master of Arts (MA) in Sociology from South Asian University (New Delhi, India), and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in World Religions and Culture from University of Dhaka. He was a Silver Jubilee scholar at South Asian University, New Delhi, India.

Mohammad Omar Faroque    ( Deputy Manager- Research and Evalaution )

Mohammad Omar Faroque is a seasoned research and development professional with eight years of experience and dual master’s degrees in International Relations and Affairs from Bangladesh and India. He has contributed to more than 50 research projects, spanning sectors such as climate change, gender and social inclusion, food security, livelihood, WASH, waste management, health, education, emergency response, policy & governance, among others. His expertise lies in designing and executing research, producing actionable evidence for better decision making, programming and policy influencing.

Saman Saad    ( Deputy Manager- Research & Evaluation )

Saman Saad is a development professional with 6 years of experience in research-based roles, supporting project evaluations and evidence-driven development initiatives across sectors including WASH, climate change adaptation, livelihoods, disaster risk reduction (DRR), and gender. She has a strong track record in managing and contributing to action research, policy and strategy paper development, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and development-focused studies for international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and UN agencies.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from North South University and a Master’s degree in Disaster Management from the University of Dhaka, equipping her with a strong interdisciplinary foundation in environmental and disaster risk research.

Rahat Hannan    ( Sr. Officer- Research & Evaluation )

Rahat Hannan joined CRD in May 2022 as an Intern and has since progressed through multiple roles, currently serving as a Senior Officer in the Research & Evaluation Department. Over the past three years, he has developed extensive experience in project evaluation, research management, survey design, field supervision, data analysis, and report writing for donor-funded development and humanitarian programs.

Before joining CRD, Rahat worked with Dhaka Tribune (2020) and Nagorik Television (2021). Although academically trained in Mass Communication and Journalism, his professional interests shifted toward the development research sector. His research areas now include market development, gender and climate justice, governance, migration, child protection, and accountability in humanitarian response.

He has also completed several professional training courses, including MEAL Essentials, MEAL in Emergencies, Safeguarding Practices, Human Subjects Research (CITI Program, valid until 2029), and Centrality of Protection in Humanitarian Action (UNHCR Global Protection Cluster). These certifications strengthen his capacity to integrate accountability, ethics, and evidence-based approaches into his work.

Rahat holds both BSS (2020) and MSS (2022) degrees in Mass Communication and Journalism from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). He envisions advancing his career in the development research sector in Bangladesh, contributing to evidence-based policy and program design.

Md. Riyad Arefin    ( Officer - Finance and HR )

 Md. Riyad Arefin is a dedicated and results-driven finance professional with over seven years of experience in finance, accounts and administration. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Finance from the Asian University of Bangladesh.

Mr. Riyad has a well-rounded background, having worked across private sector organizations, NGOs and government research projects—including the Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute. His career reflects consistent excellence in financial and administrative management.

He brings strong expertise in financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, forecasting, bookkeeping, payroll accounting, fund management, and policy compliance. He is known for ensuring strict adherence to organizational procedures and regulatory requirements.

In his current role as Officer – Finance and HR at the Centre for Research and Development Ltd. (CRD), he is responsible for maintaining financial operations, managing the general ledger, preparing month-end reports and overseeing a range of HR functions. These include recruitment and selection, onboarding, leave management and employee relations. Riyad has a proven ability to handle diverse administrative tasks with efficiency and attention to detail.

 

Md Saiful Islam    ( Officer- Admin and Accounts )

Md. Saiful Islam is an skilled Accountant with a keen eye for detail and working experience with accounts. He has excellent mathematical skills as well as being able to produce clear and concise reports offering sound advice on a variety of different subjects. Additionally, he is a clear and effective communicator and work well individually as well as part of a team. Having M.B.A in Accounting from National University, he has worked for many-reputed company like Ranak Construction, Abdul Monem Group, Super Star Group etc. for around 3 years.

Right now, he is working as an Officer-Accounts & Admin at Center for Research and Development (CRD). As an accountant, he specializes in budget preparation and collection for project completion, client deliverables and revenue compliance, Account Management, Brand Management, and other company administration-related tasks. His excellent track-record in providing high-quality results combined with his honest approach and reliable nature would make him an asset to CRD.

Ibrahim Hridoy    ( Research Assistant- Research & Evalaution )

 Ibrahim Hridoy started working with CRD as an intern in December 2024. After completing his three-month internship, he started working as a Research Assistant in the Business Development & Data Sciences Department. Mr. Ibrahim has a Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSS) and a Master of Social Sciences (MSS) in Sociology from the University of Dhaka. He has received training courses on computer fundamentals and basic to advance research. In addition to conducting academic research, he has acquired real-world field experience. He has a strong expertise in social research and is dedicated to the success of the organization.

 

Mst. Tasnim Reja    ( Research Assistant - Research & Evalaution )

Mst. Tasnim Reja a dedicated and passionate Research Assitant  at the Centre for Research and Development (CRD), brings a strong foundation in anthropology with hands-on research experience. After successful completion of her internship, Ms. Tasnim started working as RA under Business Developemnt Unit. 

She excels in conducting in-depth interviews, participant observation, case study writing, and qualitative data analysis. Her work often focuses on migration, gender, education, and mental well-being, areas she has explored through rigorous academic research and fieldwork.

She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Anthropology at the University of Dhaka, having completed her bachelor’s degree from the same institution. Throughout her academic journey, she has developed keen analytical skills, a deep understanding of social research methodologies, and a strong interest in multimodal ethnography and human-centered storytelling. During her undergraduate and postgraduate studies, she led several qualitative research projects where she employed purposive sampling, designed semi-structured questionnaires, and gathered nuanced data on the lived experiences of different communities.

Iftekharul Islam    ( Research Assistant - Research & Evalaution )

Iftekharul Islam is a dedicated research and development professional with substantial experience in disaster risk reduction, disability inclusion, and community-based research. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Science from the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, University of Dhaka, graduating with distinction and receiving multiple government fellowships in recognition of his academic excellence.

Prior to joining the Centre for Research and Development (CRD), he contributed to research initiatives with organizations including the Centre for Disability in Development (CDD), Bangladesh Labour Foundation, UGC-funded projects, Ethical Trading Initiative Bangladesh, Caritas Bangladesh, UNICEF, and the Bangladesh Disaster Forum. His expertise encompasses research design, development of data collection instruments, facilitation of surveys, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews, alongside advanced quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

He is proficient in SPSS, ArcGIS, Kobo Toolbox, and programming languages such as Python and R for statistical and geospatial analysis. His research interests include disaster resilience, climate change adaptation, disability studies, labor rights, and community health. Beyond his research engagements, Iftekharul actively contributes to youth leadership and social development as President of the Bangladesh Youth Initiative (Dhaka University Unit) and as Co-founder of the A Hasanah Initiative, which promotes interest-free microfinance for marginalized communities.

Labib Muhaimeen Uddin    ( Research Assistant - Research & Evalaution )

Labib Muhaimeen Uddin is a dedicated and driven professional with both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Dhaka. He is deeply committed to contributing to sustainable development and social transformation in Bangladesh through the application of conflict resolution, effective communication, and education.

Labib brings practical experience in qualitative research, field data collection, and community engagement, developed through his previous roles as a research enumerator and research assistant. His academic background is complemented by his work as a spoken English instructor, where he honed strong communication, mentoring and interpersonal skills.

Fluent in both Bangla and English, Labib blends analytical rigor with creativity, drawing inspiration from photography, music, travel and meaningful interactions with diverse communities.

Linnet Riya Barman    ( Research Assistant- Reaserch & Evaluation )

Linnet Riya Barman is an emerging researcher with a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Gazipur Agricultural University. She has over 3.5 years of experience in interdisciplinary academic research, publishing and serving as a peer reviewer for reputed journals. She joined as Research Assistant at CRD September 2025. 

She was awarded the National Science and Technology Research Fellowship, recognizing her potential in agricultural research. Riya also worked as an intern at the Bangladesh Jute Research Institute (BJRI) where she contributed to BJRI and Krishi Gobeshona Foundation’s collaborative project focused on transforming conventional agriculture into high-value enterprises. 

Riya has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and experience in using different data analysis tools. Her research interests span diverse themes, including food security and sustainable food systems, sustainable agricultural practices, rural livelihoods and development. She aspires to build an interdisciplinary research career that bridges agriculture, sustainability, and policy to address global development challenges and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a research assistant of CRD, she envisions contributing to sustainable development through evidence-based research that informs policy and practice and addresses real-world challenges in Bangladesh and beyond.

Sanjida Nur    ( Research Assistant - Research & Evalaution )

Sanjida Nur is a research enthusiast and development professional with particular interest in the areas of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Climate Change Adaptation (CCA), social impact sectors, community resilience programs, disability inclusion and community-based research. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social science from the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, University of Dhaka. She joined as Research Assistant at CRD September 2025. 

Prior to joining CRD, she had worked with several organizations, including, but not limited to, BELA, BRAC and IFRC. Her expertise encompasses research tool development, field research, and report writing. She is particularly skilled in digital data collection tool designing, qualitative data analysis and training facilitation. Her work consistently demonstrates a commitment to fostering community involvement and achieving sustainable outcomes.

Faria Labonno    ( Research Assistant - Research and Evaluation Dept. )

Faria Labonno is a dedicated Research Assistant at the Centre for Research and Development (CRD), with a strong academic grounding in Women and Gender Studies from University of Dhaka.

Before joining CRD in October 2025, she worked as a Research Intern at the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS), where she contributed to policy-oriented research on national security, foreign policy, and migration governance through a gender-sensitive lens. Moreover, from 2019 to 2022, She volunteered as a teacher at Hashimukh Somaj Kallayan Songstha, where she worked closely with underprivileged children and women, promoting education, awareness, and empowerment at the grassroots level.

She has extensive experience in qualitative research on women’s empowerment, labor migration, and workplace gender disparities, conducting interviews, focus groups, and case studies. She is committed to leveraging her research and field experience to inform evidence-based policies that advance gender equality and social empowerment.      

Shaira Tasnim Anika    ( Research Assistant - Research & Evalautionh Dept )

Shaira Tasnim Anika is an emerging sociologist with a strong academic background and growing experience in empirical research. She completed her Master of Social Science and Bachelor of Social Science in Sociology at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, earning consistently high results across both degrees. Her work centers on social development, youth culture, women’s empowerment, and Indigenous issues in Bangladesh.

Zerin Tasnim    ( Research Assitant - Research and Evaluation Dept )

 Zerin Tasnim is a results-driven Food and Nutrition and Public Health research professional with strong academic training and hands-on experience in nutrition research, community-based initiatives, and public health communication. She holds both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Food and Nutrition from the Government College of Applied Human Science, Dhaka University.

She brings practical expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, field data collection, community mobilization, and participatory approaches, contributing to improved nutrition and health outcomes. Her experience includes project coordination, technical reporting, and stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams. She has also demonstrated strong leadership and mentoring skills through her role as Vice President of the GCAHS Nutrition Club, where she led training programs and awareness campaigns.

Zerin joined Centre for Research and Development (CRD) as an Intern in October 2025 and is currently working as a Research Assistant – Research & Evaluation.

Arifa Khan    ( Research Assistant - Research & Evalautionh Dept )

Arifa Khatun is a dedicated academic and researcher in the field of Government and Politics. She served as a Lecturer in the Department of Government and Politics at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology from 21 July 2022 to 15 January 2025. During her tenure, she taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Political Thought, Public Administration, Public Policy, Human Rights & International Law, Bangladesh Politics, Peace and War Studies, and Contemporary Islamic Political Thought.

She completed her Master of Social Science (M.S.S.) and Bachelor of Social Science (B.S.S.) in Government and Politics from Jahangirnagar University, securing a GPA of 3.68/4.00 and CGPA of 3.58/4.00 respectively.

Her research interests include religious extremism, socio-political dynamics, governance, gender studies, and conflict analysis. She is proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SPSS and possesses strong communication skills in both Bengali and English

Anik Das    ( Research Assistant - Research & Evalautionh Dept )

Anik Das is a social science researcher specializing in social inequality, forms of marginalization, mental health stigma, gender, and climate resilience. He completed his BSS and MSS degrees in Sociology from Rabindra University, Bangladesh. His MSS thesis, titled “Socioeconomic Vulnerability and Resilience of Households to Riverbank Erosion: Evidence from Shahjadpur Upazila, Sirajganj” under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Tanvir Ahmed, focused on household resilience and vulnerability in climate-induced riverbank erosion, analyzing risk exposure, livelihood impacts, coping mechanisms, and adaptive capacity at the community level.

 

Before joining the Centre for Research and Development (CRD), he worked as a Research Officer and Consultant at the Aloshikha RSD Centre and as a Research Intern at the Centre for People and Environment (CPE), contributing to research on climate change and disaster risk reduction. He is proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including survey design, data management, and analytical interpretation. He has a strong command of statistical and data analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, and Microsoft Excel, as well as data collection and spatial analysis tools.

 

Anik has also actively participated in several national and international conferences and workshops, strengthening his engagement with global discussions on climate justice, economic inclusion, and sustainable development. 

Arefin Ahmed Mithen    ( Research Assistant - Research & Evalautionh Dept )

Arefin Ahmed Mithen is a dedicated and detail-oriented Anthropology graduate currently pursuing his master’s degree in social sciences. With over two years of professional experience in academic and development-focused research, he has developed a strong foundation in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies through extensive fieldwork and research support engagements.

Adhara Madhuri Das is a Master of Public Administration graduate with a focused interest in policy-oriented research, governance, and evidence-based public policy. She has gained practical research experience through her work as a Governance Apprentice at Youth Policy Forum, where she contributed to systematic literature reviews, policy briefs, analytical writing, and stakeholder engagement. With experiences in data analysis, research documentation, and policy reporting, she is motivated to pursue research and evaluation roles in the public policy and development sector.

Kifayat Sadmam Ishadi    ( Inter- Reaserch & Evaluation )

Kifayat Sadmam Ishadi is a public health researcher with a strong background in quantitative and mixed-methods research. She holds an MPH and a BPH from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Her research interests include health behavior, mental health, nutrition, digital health risks, and health equity, with a particular focus on vulnerable populations. At CRD, she contributes as a research intern. She has experience working on national and institution-based research projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to evidence-based policy and development research.

Nakib Hossain    ( Inter- Reaserch & Evaluation )

Md. Nakib Hossain is a postgraduate in Sociology from Gopalganj Science and Technology University, with a focused interest in policy-oriented research, governance, and gender studies. He has gained practical research experience through his work as an enumerator for the PACTA project with Transparency International Bangladesh (quantitative) and through a qualitative survey on the Urban UPG program at BIGD. He also worked as a Research Assistant at First Capital University, Chuadanga, where he contributed to systematic literature reviews, policy briefs, analytical writing, and methodological tasks. With experience in data analysis, data collection, research documentation, and policy reporting, he is motivated to pursue research and evaluation roles in the public policy and development sector.

Sumaiya Majumder Jemi    ( Inter- Reaserch & Evaluation )

Sumaiya Majumder Jemi is a B.Sc. graduate in Economics with a strong interest in development economics, applied research, and data-driven policy analysis. She has gained hands-on research experience through her role as a Research Assistant at the North South University Economics Research Platform, where she has been actively involved in literature reviews, econometric analysis, and research documentation under faculty supervision.

In addition to her research work, she has professional experience in business development and service operations, contributing to data management, client engagement, and analytical reporting through roles at Next Ventures and Foodpanda Bangladesh. Her work reflects a strong commitment to evidence-based analysis, research communication, and supporting policy-relevant research.

Munabbir Ibne Faruk Shezan    ( Driver )

Munabbir Ibne Faruk Shezan is a skilled and reliable driver with over 5 years of experience in operating both commercial and personal vehicles. He holds a valid light vehicle driver’s license.

Currently working at CRD as a driver, Munabbir is responsible for regular vehicle maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and ensuring safety standards are met. Prior to joining CRD, he worked at ACI Ltd.

He has strong knowledge of vehicle safety and navigation, using maps and GPS to plan safe and efficient routes. Munabbir is known for staying calm under pressure, handling long-distance trips with a focus on safety, comfort and punctuality.

Shubel Mondol    ( Driver cum Messenger )

Shubel Mondol is a skilled and reliable driver with over seven years of experience in operating both personal and commercial vehicles. He is currently serving at CRD, where he ensures the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of office vehicles. His regular responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and maintaining safety standards.

Before joining CRD, Shubel worked as both a personal and commercial driver, gaining valuable experience in road safety, navigation, and vehicle management. He has strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations and is proficient in using maps and GPS to plan safe and time-efficient routes.

Shubel is known for his calm, professional, and responsible attitude. He always prioritizes passenger safety, comfort, and punctuality. His dedication, discipline, and reliability make him an essential member of the CRD team.

Ronjoy Sangma    ( Office Assistant )

 Ronjoy Sangma is a self-organized and dedicated support staff with 4+ years of experience in providing organizational clerical support. He has joined CRD in mid-March 2022 as an Office Assistant.  He performs scheduling meetings and managing calendars, emailing, answering phone calls and taking messages, maintaining supplies, welcoming guests and providing visitors with information and performing other general office maintenance duties and errands. He has completed his S.S.C in Humanities.

Ronjoy has proven experience in managing files and dealing with other administrative team. Prior to CRD, he worked for INGO and MNCs such as Relief International, Amin Mohammad group and Ready Cash

Achinto Dalbot    ( Office Assistant )

Achinto Dalbot is a fresher dedicated support staff with 10 year of experience in different organizational support. He has joined CRD in June-2022 as an Office Assistant.  He performs scheduling meetings and managing calendars, emailing, answering phone calls and taking messages, maintaining supplies, welcoming guests and providing visitors with information and performing other general office maintenance duties and errands. He has completed his S.S.C in Humanities.

Achinto has worked in managing files and dealing with another administrative team. Prior to CRD, he worked as a facilitator for organization such as World Vision (Project-Haluaghat ADP).

Md Nazrul Islam    ( Adviser- Tax and VAT Complaince (Part time) )

Nazrul Islam is a tax and accounting consultant with more than twelve (12) years of extensive professional experience in providing comprehensive accounting, taxation, VAT, and regulatory compliance services. His professional practice covers a wide range of clients, including corporate bodies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), liaison offices, associations of persons, and individual taxpayers. He has developed strong expertise in ensuring statutory compliance, financial reporting, and advisory services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations of Bangladesh.

 

He is a Certified Accounting Professional (CAP) under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and a Certified Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) recognized by the National Board of Revenue (NBR). In addition, he successfully completed the Course Completion (CC) program with the renowned chartered accountancy firm A. Wahab & Co., where he gained practical exposure to professional audit, tax planning, corporate compliance, and financial advisory services.

 

Academically, Mr. Islam holds a Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting from Dhaka College, affiliated with the National University of Bangladesh.
