Final Evaluation of

“Strengthening Right to Education for Child Labourer in Dhaka City” Project

Educo, in association with ESDO, jointly implemented the project “Strengthening Right to Education for Child Laborers in Dhaka City,” aiming to improve access to education and protect the rights of children engaged in hazardous labor. Through the establishment of the Bridge school, Educo ought to target 800 children for withdrawal from hazardous work.

As the project reached its conclusion, CRD was entrusted to conducting the endline evaluation. The evaluation was critically examine the project’s overall effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability, while determining and identifying lessons learn and best practices for future interventions. The evaluation employed a mixed-method approach, combining a quantitative method (survey) with a qualitative approach (interviews). A diverse and experienced team of professionals with expertise in child protection, education, gender, social research, and data analysis were invloved in the evalaution.
