CRD was tasked with conducting data analysis for the Society for Environment and Human Development (SEHD) under the assignment “Customary Land and Land Grabbing in the North Center and Chittagong Hill Tracts.” The analysis was based on a dataset of 2,500 surveys, comprising 1,000 surveys from the North Center (Gazipur, Mymensingh, and Tangail) and 1,500 surveys from the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

CRD’s core responsibility was to produce structured quantitative analysis tables for both study areas, including key summaries and standard disaggregation, to support evidence-based reporting on customary land practices and land-grabbing dynamics. As a supporting step, CRD was conducted essential data validation and necessary corrective checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the analysis outputs. SEHD will use CRD’s analysis tables for data visualization and to finalize the narrative reporting.
