Training on NVivo
Centre for Research and Development (CRD) organized a Training on NVivo on 26th October, 2022, at the conference room of the Bureau of Economics Research (BER) in University of Dhaka under the project titled ‘Gender Gap in Financial Inclusion (GGiFI). The GGiFI is a country representative empirical study which aims to investigate the pattern and extent of financial inclusion of women both in rural and urban Bangladesh. The study is being funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Dr. Mokhlesur Rahman, Founder and CEO of CRD, initiated the training. Participants introduced themselves. Data collection of the study has been completed. Now, the research team has initiated data analysis. Since a huge amount of qualitative data has been gathered, therefore software (nVivo) based analysis would be required to manage and analyze the qualitative data. On that background, a basic Training on nVivo was held today.  The training was facilitated by Anthropologist Mr. Nurul Islam Biplob. All core team members - Professor Ayesha Banu, Dr. Lila Rashid, Professor Bidisha Haque, consultants - Dr. Sanzida Akter, Dr. Soma Dey, Aditi Sabur, two research assistants and CRD team members.
