Tuba Ahmad

Tuba Ahmad is an enthusiastic explorer and learner in the research and development sector and wants to pursue an extraordinary career in this field with diverse experiences. She worked with CRD as Research Assistant during August 2020 to May 2021. She has supported proposal drafting, data collection tool development, conducting field research, analyzing research findings, and drafting reports in several assignments. She  contributed to assignments with MSH, ICCO Cooperation, UN Women & Ella Alliance. Prior to this role, she worked briefly in Relief International as a humanitarian worker serving the Rohingya refugee community for gender-based violence prevention in Cox’s Bazar. She completed her graduation and post-graduation in Social Sciences with a major in Women and Gender Studies, from the University of Dhaka.

Her interest in research grew during the academic years and her academic supervisor played a crucial role in nurturing and sustaining that interest in research. The engrossing facts of research to her are that it introduces her to new people, new problems, new ways of solving issues, generate new ideas and attain a critical perspective on social issues.
