End line study of AGNEE (Awareness, Actions and Advocacy for Gender and Safe Spaces for Women and Girls) Project

CRD has been assigned to evaluate the "End line study of  AGNEE (Awareness, Actions and Advocacy for Gender and Safe Spaces for Women and Girls) Project", implemented by BRAC and Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK). The initiative, running from March 2022 to February 2025, aims to combat sexual harassment (SH) and gender-based violence (GBV) in workplaces, educational institutions, public spaces, and digital platforms. It targets 14 upazilas across Gazipur and Rajshahi districts. It seeks to address the systemic and cultural barriers contributing to SH and GBV, such as weak enforcement of laws, societal stigma, and patriarchal norms. To achieve its goals, the project focuses on strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs), duty-bearers, and other stakeholders to address SH and GBV effectively.

The endline study, employing a mixed-method approach, will evaluate the project’s progress and impact after three years of implementation. It will assess the achievement of key indicators outlined in the project’s log frame, comparing results with baseline data to determine the success of interventions. The study will also examine the effectiveness of institutional mechanisms in strengthening SH and GBV responses and reporting and measuring the level of awareness created among community members regarding SH and GBV.
