End Line Evaluation of Community Development Projects, Good Neighbors Bangladesh

End Line Evaluation of Community Development Projects, Good Neighbors Bangladesh
Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) began its operations to improve the lives of communities, especially registered sponsored children, in 1996. GNB has been implementing its Community Development Projects (CDP) in different areas including Birganj & Bochaganj (Dinajpur) and Pirganj (Thakurgaon).

The 5 years long projects promoted child rights and contributed towards a child friendly society. The target respondents included sponsored and non-sponsored children along with their parents, members of the Community Development Committee (CDC), local representatives, educational institutes, teachers, School Management Committee (SMC) members, government officials, and all  CDP staff. It was being implemented through mobilization of women, youth and children, ensuring healthy life in community by public health access and strengthening economical condition of the target community through livelihood activities. As the projects are going to be ended soon, thus an end line evaluation has been initiated.

To conduct the endline evaluation, Centre for Research and Development (CRD) has been awarded. Gazi Mohammad Suhrawardy (Manager– Research & Evaluation, CRD) has been leading the assignment.
