M&E Framework of National Action Plan (NAP) on Antimicrobial Resistance Containment (ARC)
Funded by: Management Sciences for Health (MSH) Bangladesh
Bangladesh has developed a National Action Plan (NAP) on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) with an associated roadmap. These need to be effectively implemented. Having a properly developed monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework is critical to guide the appropriate implementation of the NAP/roadmap.
That M&E framework will not only guide actions in an organized, targeted and standardized manner, but also help track progress, improve governance and accountability, identify the need for any mid-course corrections in implementation, and assist in national and international reporting in an evidence-based manner.
Therefore, CDC of DGHS with technical support from USAID MTaPS Program, has taken initiatives to develop an M&E Framework. The CEO of CRD has been appointed as the lead consultant to draft the M&E Framework. The assignment requires the active engagement of all stakeholders (DGHS, DLS, DoF, DGDA, WHO, DPS, etc.) who are working on AMR.
